We respect your privacy. This policy explains, in plain language, what personal information we collect, how we use and share it, how we protect it, and the choices you have. It applies to ocalcapital.com and to the mortgage brokerage services we provide.
What we collect

- Information about your loan request, such as the loan purpose, property information, and your message to us;

This is typically collected through our secure third-party application platform or directly from you, not through our quote form;
- Information from others, such as credit reporting agencies, lenders, appraisers, title and closing companies, with your permission or as the law allows;

How we use your information
We use your information to respond to your requests, help you compare loan options, submit your application to lenders, process and close your loan, communicate with you about your inquiry or loan, meet legal and regulatory requirements, prevent fraud, operate and improve our website and services, and, where you have agreed or the law allows, tell you about products and services that may interest you.
How we share your information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only as needed to provide the services you request or as the law allows, for example with:
- lenders and investors we submit your application to, and companies that help complete your loan, such as appraisers, title and closing companies, and credit reporting agencies;
- service providers that help us run our business, such as our application platform, email and text-messaging, website hosting, security and analytics providers, who may use your information only to perform services for us;
- government agencies, regulators, courts and others when required by law or to protect our rights, our customers or the public.
We do not share your mobile phone number or your text-message opt-in information with third parties or affiliates for their own marketing.
How we protect your information
We use physical, electronic and procedural safeguards designed to protect your personal information, and we limit access to people who need it to serve you. No method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please do not send Social Security numbers, account numbers or other sensitive information by regular email or text message; ask us how to send documents securely.
